CRKT Eat ‘N Tool Does More Than Feed The Beast!
OK, so I admit… I’m just an IT Desk Warrior. My fitbit never clocks more than 6000 steps when I’m in the office, and I only get 6K when the server room is going down in flames (or a DDOS attack).
It’s times like this, when the IT team is under fire, that we often miss a formal lunch and have to resort to eating whatever we can when we have a moment between server reboots.
Doing a review on such a simple tool might seem odd, but the CRKT Eat ‘N Tool is one of my best under-fire lunch friends. No matter the situation, the CRKT Spork offers assurances that whereever I am, I can eat… even if it’s a plain ol’ can of tuna, cold soup right from the can, or Quaker Oats oatmeal mixed with cold water from the water cooler down the hall.
I might make life as a server admin seem a bit harsh and spartan, but often times, when you and the understaffed and underpaid IT team battle attacks all day to keep your server farm running, it’s a necessity.
The CRKT offers a firm, solid eating tool that does a lot more than just get you fed. While that’s it’s primary purpose, the CRKT Eat ‘N Tool has 10mm, 8mm and 6mm nut drivers in it’s handle that work well for racking servers.
There’s also a flat edge that’s touted as a screwdriver, but for IT work, I needed to grind the thickness down so that it could fit into the smaller screws found on these servers.
After work, it’s got a bottle opener on the side allowing you to crack that cold one with ease in the 40° server room with your closest friends. LOL
While nothing replaces a multitool, the CRKT Eat ‘N Tool has gotten me through in a pinch, and yes, it gets me fed as well.
